Work that runs better starts with people who do.
I help small businesses fix broken processes. Sometimes that's workflow automation on the tools you already own. Sometimes it's a custom tool, or a new website when that's what's letting you down. And I train your managers to build healthy teams that work for everyone. It usually starts with a free audit.

"Most consultants fix either the process or the people. Rarely both. The problem is they're not separate, automation fails when it ignores people, and management training fails when it ignores broken systems."

Less manual effort on my CSIRO team, once automated testing took over the checks every release used to need by hand. Small practices lose hours to the same kind of repeated work, and they get them back the same way.
A business that runs without you carrying it
Process, Automation & Software
Staff spending hours on tasks that shouldn't exist? I build the fix. Workflow automation, integrations, custom tools, or a new website when that's what's broken. Your team owns it at handover.

Managers promoted for skill, not trained to lead? I train them to build healthy teams that work for everyone. Easier jobs for managers, staff who enjoy the work, and a business that performs because of it.

I run every engagement myself, from the free audit to the handover, so the person who hears the problem is the person who fixes it.
Before NUDG I spent nearly 14 years at CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, the last four leading its automation team through cloud moves, headcount freezes and a constant flow of new starters. Nobody left the organisation in those four years. Two people who'd been struggling turned their performance around with my support, and both went on to promotions in other teams. Good management is a skill, and it can be taught. That's half of what I do now.
